Q’s Sports Bar Manchester – Formerly Breaks, Suzie Q’s and Riley’s Belle Vue

Following the demise of the Riley’s Sports Bar on Deansgate in Manchester, the nearest Riley’s Sports Bar from the City Centre fell to the former Break’s venue at Belle Vue. Close to the Showcase Cinema and the famous Belle Vue Stadium, which remains a popular attraction after many years and hosts regular Greyhound and Speedway racing events.

Unfortunately, late last year this venue fell victim to closure yet again, no doubt another victim of the overall decline in the traditional pub trade, along with what some may suggest is the aggressive pricing policy enforced by the group.

Q’s Sports Bar Manchester is the latest incarnation of the former Break’s venue and is all set to become the best and most popular local venue for Pool, Snooker, Darts and all the latest sports action on the big screen.

The private snooker room has been removed and the lounge area opened up to provide a more open space for people to relax and watch the sports on the big screen TV.

The table rates are now massively reduced from the previous Riley’s pricing, with a number of new offers available including all day (until 5pm) or all night (until close) for a very low price.

There are also a couple of pay to play pool tables for those who just want to pop in to enjoy a pint and a casual game.

The range of beers currently available on draught are Coors Light, Carling, Grolsch and Worthington Bitter. Strongbow cider is also available on draught. A small range of bottled products are stocked and hot food including burgers and chips can be purchased from the bar.

The new owners are currently investigating the possibility of selling a larger variety of ales, with the hope to be able to provide a small amount of the excellent locally produced ales on the bar, subject to demand.
