I'm back at last... Normal league information service to be resumed shortly! All outstanding results will be updated as soon as I have them. Hello and Wha Gwaan to EveryoneI finally made it back from the glorious Caribbean Island of Jamaica, repatriated by Virgin Atlantic on a specially chartered flight from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay to London Gatwick on Monday 26th April, (original flight cancelled on the 17th due to Volcanic Ash Clouds from Iceland!) I was extremely sad to leave after an extra 9 days of free continued accommodation at a fantastic, friendly, all-inclusive resort on the Seven Mile beach in the amazing location of Negril courtesy of Virgin Holidays! Big shout out to ALL the people we met in Jamaica that made the holiday and it's most (un?)fortunate extension incredibly enjoyable! I can't wait to go back... Wha Gwaan? With a bit of luck we should have some pictures and information on here shortly. We have now completed the first quarter of the season, with no match again this week to allow you a brief chance to hone your skills. The second batch of games in the League competition begin next week at the usual time. As always, check the league fixtures section for full details of the matches. The next League Meeting will take place next Wednesday on the 5th of May at the Wheatsheaf, start time as usual is 8pm (Local Time - sorry I'm still getting over my Jet Lag). See you next week. |
